What app(s) should I make in iOS and Android? I will take requests and stuff but I can't do games.

Maybe make an application that controls lego NXT robots (my first android application I made)

Apple will inflate their own stats. You need a different and trusted data collection company for non-biased facts.

Just to say, in case you change your mind, you can get android development tools for free and the Android SDK comes with android virtual devices so you can still run and test them on a virtual device.
