Half life 2 glitch help?

For some reason when i start HL2 the black box that says loading in the bottom right looks like this now;


And all the prison gaurds in nova prospekt are speaking some asian language (korean?)
Nothing else in the game is in another language and i was just wondering why its doing this now when it wasn't yesterday?

Go to your properties in the Steam Library (selecting HL2 duh) and check your language

Speaking of HL2 glitches, I fought an invisible poison headcrab, walked in a cubic skybox (it didn't transform onto the sphere for whatever reason), propstacked to get to places I was never meant to go, found some rocks hovering a few inches off the ground in the first Antlion Guard boss arena... but I aint seen this.
