Author Topic: As of yesterday I was graduating tomorrow... (elementary school)  (Read 1237 times)

We don't have middleschool, btw. Elementary school is K-7.

Anyway, I go to a pretty small school, so our grade 7 class only has 14 people. We all know each other extremely well, all but one of us has been around since kindergarden.
Tomorrow we're graduating, which I have mixed feelings about. Since the highschool has around 1.5k teens, we're probably all just going to get lost in the mix. And since we're all spread throughout town, it's just gunna suck.
Yeah, I dunno..

wow you are young

congrats

that slash is hard to see you know

I went through the same thing when I went to highschool, my graduating class was 7 people and the whole school k-7 never had more than 50 students so we all knew each other really well, and going to a massive high school seemed terrifying.
But you will go to high school, possibly be nervous and shy, but after a little while you will be completely used to it and forget about how big it is.
High school is fun, not as fun as elementary school but it's still not a bad place.

Things will get worse. It's never as bad as you think it will be, but be prepared for terrible experiences in everything you do. If you're lucky, you'll find a few good friends early on. I'm very shy in real life, so going into middle school for me was awful. I made one good friend my first year, and he was basically the only reason I didn't have a mental breakdown on multiple occasions.

This isn't true. Don't discourage OP.
The experience is only as bad as you make it. Go in with a good, outgoing attitude and you'll be fine.

Eh. I guess that's right. Doesn't hurt to have low expectations though.

Done!

so excited for high-school in september.

don't listen to people who tell you highschool is going to be stuff, it's actually pretty fun.

Take classes you enjoy, make friends with the upper classmen from the get-go, and you'll be fine.

i'm looking forward to getting more social contact when i go into high school this august
i've been homeschooled since i was like nine so i never really got a chance to develop socially
i'm probably going to miss not spending as much time around my one really close friend and not having my computer all the time but i'd think the social interaction will be good for me (even if a lot of the kids here are dumb as a stump)

but yeah i'm sort of looking forward to high school

"Graduating"
yes, he's graduating elementary school and moving on to high school
he completed a line of education and is moving on to the next set

So Americans call it "graduation" after every line of education? lol

........lol
