I have a feeling I should ask him for an early christmas gift, as I probably won't see him again for another year and a half. (also a late birthday gift and a late christmas gift. yes it will be money. and a ride to gamestop so I can buy a PS3 and/or project x zone)

I do, but it would be so much easier if I actually felt like he was my father. IIRC, the first time I saw him since I was two was around 4 years ago, 34 visits since then, most of them were really short, and they were all filled with excuses on why he couldn't even try to call me.
