Alright, here it is. I got this far on it, and I'd like your guys opinion on how it looks.
I've made a couple tracks before, but this is the first i'm posting to the forums.
here's some pictures of the track so far.

Here's the part I need help on, the middle.
I don't want it to be too easy, otherwise they'll pass the others. Also if you think i should remove it just say so.
Here's a little "Mini-map" kind of thing so you can see what the insides look like (Not exact)

I really like it! Good job so far.

You should make a gimmick where say...
if you press a button on the red side there will be an added obstacle on the green side. and vise versa.

That's what i'm asking you guys.
I just don't want it to hard so that it's impossible, but  not so easy they can fly by it and pass all of the people in the tube areas.

that's what he's saying. he wants to make a middle track challenging enough that people taking it would have to slow down enough so that the side loops are still viable routes.

No, like in the colored portion there is a loop, but one could easily just do a turn instead of a circle.

if you look at the minimap he indicates its a jump, not a flat road. you can't turn because there's nothing to turn on

That is also what I am saying. If you can jump across then you can probably jump to the side. I think a difference in elevation would be needed to prevent this.

For the center you could have something that you have to go full throttle to get through, like falling platforms or whatever, but it'd also have corners and ramps and stuff that'd be nearly impossible to do at that speed

I added a bit more to the track, and I still don't know what to do with that center area.
(I'm going to be adding obsticals, traps, and decoration so its not plain, later.)

when you enter the tunnels you're on the flat track and then you jump

maybe sharks at periodic intervals like in hydro? as in the sharks on the bigger jump, which were pretty frequent.
