Chernobyl is a city.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernobyl_(city)

"The Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant or Chornobyl Nuclear Power Station is a decommissioned nuclear power station near the city of Pripyat, Ukraine, 14.5 km (9.0 mi) northwest of the city of Chernobyl,"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernobyl_Nuclear_Power_Plant

"The city was evacuated in 1986 due to the Chernobyl disaster at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, located 14.5 kilometres (9.0 mi) north-northwest. The power plant was within Chernobyl Raion (District), but the city was not the residence of the power plant workers. When the power plant was under construction, Prypiat, a city larger and closer to the power plant, had been built as home for the power plant workers."

Use references, like I did. Draw squares as the buildings and just scribble detail in, since most of everything is already broken and dirty thats easy!

as a wise man once said
"It's harder to build a old, broken-down house rather than a clean and bright house."

Also, how do you guys make your drawings look like you made them on the computer? the only thing i'd be able to do would just hold up a iPhone to it and snap a picture, what are your guys' secrets?

They scan them in using a scanner and maybe edit them a bit in a image editor.

Use my scanner, then I use Paint.net (Not the website the program) and just edit things. The colored one is from the link provided in the OP

We will go to pripyat and collect all the artifacts! Let us drink!

ayyyyyee

wait
why would we drink alcohol in a place that has 400x the radiation of both of the atomic bombs that hit Japan in WWII

>Because alcohol remove radiation from your body
>Vodka is just alcohol
>S.T.A.L.K.E.R logic

Annnd the radiation has dropped considerably since 1986. The radiation at the time was that of 10 Hurishima blasts. Now you're able to actually breath, you'll just be able to notice levels of radiation from your handheld monitor.

I'm glad someone else takes as much interest in the incident as i do.

Haha, yes I'm very interested in the incident.

Fun Fact; Whenever the evacuation buses came to Pripyat, it's been said the line was around 9 miles long.
