Author Topic: i hate fire  (Read 4052 times)

I'm kind of scared of fire. But I suppose it's more so a fear of being burnt.

I am really nervous around Bunsen Burners in a classroom, and Matches are awkward for me to use.

And I hate the oven, because I was getting something out of it for my mum, and I was wearing oven-gloves, but they only cover so much of the back of your hand.
I went in to pick something up (I think it might have been a pizza) and it was a difficult maneuver, and I lifted my hand just too much and the back of it hit the hot Steel tray, and burnt me.
I've got a small burn scar on the back of the hand from it.
Since I hit 2 of the horizontal bars that make up the tray, it burnt in two seperate places, and makes a little "atom bomb" shape.

i know how to handle fire
i used to play with it a lot when i was little, like poking sticks into big campfires and going around using them like torches or candles

but yeah i'm ok with fire

We used to have lots of barbecues when I was young and when my parents were gone I would pick random leaves, chuck them into the fire and inhale the smoke to tell what they'd smell like. Either that or I would watch some of them fry up and make weird noises.

Oh god how do I not have cancer...

you must be Frankenstein

I play with it sometimes

still haven't wet the bed

But it's so pretty...

Matches are weird. Everything else fire related is totally awesome.

You would not like the science trick where you put methane/other flammable gas in bubbles and then light your hand on fire.

Run your hand over a candle, you'll then see that fire won't hurt. Unless you're wearing a glove and you hold your hand over the candle.
