Author Topic: Fixing computers for summer job  (Read 2857 times)

Regular websites require money which is why I'm doing this in the first place. I only used weebly because it it simple, effective, and I've used it before.
I didn't pay a penny for LeetLegacy.

a thing like this would be local. i wouldnt even use a website. i would mak a facebook page for the business, and post adds on craigslist once a week.
also post printouts at the grocery store board and such places.

what
what service did you use?
or did you self-host it?

000webhost with a free .tk domain.
No forced ads or anything like that.

There is a Facebook page but all it has is a link to the website.
I plan on doing flyers tomorrow.

i would change the pricing system to.
because if someone wants added ram, backup, and a virus clean; that would add up to like 60 bucks + price of ram.
when it could all still be 30 bucks + price of ram.

90% of people with computer problems dont even KNOW what they need, they just know that the computer is forgeted up. so the pricing of different things isnt specific enough for them. and when people dont understand things, they feel ripped off instantly.

plus you should add services that all these fix-erup software and websites offer.
like the whole drivers, registries, temp cache spam, toolbar addon spam, startup programs simplify;
everything that can be done in 5 minutes with ccleaner. but other companies are banking on the stuff lol

All in due time.
Also look at this abomination.

Looks like a 90s ad of sorts.
Though I think it would been even better if it was a 90s ad.

cringing so hard right now

Yeah the flyer is a joke. I'm going to make a better one right now. I made that one when I was tired last night.

0/10 would not call to house
Here is a better one.

I'd suggest the following:

Find a method to remove the blank spacing on the left side.
Also I really think $30 for a virus scan or system backup is loving absurdly stupid.
Your "I can help!" is quite redundant and I find it very stupid.
You should also directly list your phone number/name. What if the person has problems with internet, his modem, or needs help installing the modem?
The page is quite big for not much content.

I don't have a phone (one of the reasons I'm doing this), my name is IN the business name, and I'll look for something to fill the blank space to the left. It's $30 for whatever ail's their computer. Bisjack recommended this as most people don't know what most of the stuff means.
