Best Internet Service Provider?

I am looking for a new ISP.

All ISPs seem to make you pay more for what you are buying. I currently pay 50 dollars a month for ATT 6 mbps connection. I guess I should be thankful I'm not on NetZero Dial Up or something like that. If anyone can make any reccomendations based on their own experiences that would be wonderful. I can just go off what is available in my area myself. I know ISPs have to make a profit, but some of these prices are just crazy. I can't find the real price for Comcast Blast package, which is 50 mbps download, and 25 mbps upload. It only shows me the first 6 month price, which is like 39.99 a month. I have a feeling they don't tell you because it probably bounces up to something ridiculous. Again, if anyone can share a good provider, that would be great.

Oh I am glad you are from Earth, you should try iBurst or Yo!Africa or that one ISP from Antartida no one knows about.
Don't imply that US is the whole loving world. And even so I don't know if I got the country right.
