are you basically looking for something like craggy side terrain and then the center is an open field?

if so then you could revamp your example build to have that.

the brown would be craggy mountainous shapes (symetrical) the red would start to get less mountainous and smaller craggy rocks and the middle would be open sort of how it layed out in mine (except good)
