The thing is that dogs don't live for as long as you want them to, and with the pain this one has been through, not saying the dog will die, but it most likely will if something like this happens ever again.
10,000 dollars is a humongous amount of money to pay; what if the dog died anyways?

If a person thinks that a dog's life is just as valuable as a humans let them be, and don't say crap like that. With that legal crap, it's not your problem. The case is with two other dog owners that are not affiliated with you, you cannot change anything with arguing on an internet forum.
