Pass has helped me with the models in the RPG & some building.

Updates:
  • 7/7/2013 - RTB Dedicated server has been bought to host the RPG.
  • 7/7/2013 - Mining update
  • 5/7/2013 - Sound ambiance for things like waterfalls and streams has been added, as well as sounds for fishing.
  • Video Here
  • 5/7/2013 - Fishing is a planned new skill.

Planned Skills:

  • Adventuring (exploring and discovering new places)
  • Blacksmithing (creating weapons, tools & armor)
  • Fishing
  • Mining
  • Woodcutting

Recent Updates:
Blacksmithing is currently being tested with varlinks from VCE, allowing you to click what type of bar you want to smelt in chat, half of the time it works; and the other half does not.

I host it almost everyday around 1PM GMT, however it has a password on.
If you mean an estimate until completion then i'm really unsure, probably a month or more.

Please don't use DRPG as an example for this. Make it good.

somehow that terrain seems really weird
like it's missing bricks or something

that's pretty good but make the level/xp/gold/othervalue texts slightly bigger and increase the opacity of the back box very slightly so its a little more clear what the values are.

does the HUD react to VCE Variables or is it an entirely independent script?

if it uses variables, i'd love it if you were able to post it.

I'm aiming to get it to work with VCE, It's possible as far as I can tell; but my knowledge with torquescript is pretty low. If I can actually get it working with variables, i'll be happy to post it :)

Added some updates to the OP, including mining, sound ambiance and the new RTB dedicated server :)


I have been working on & off at building this for a few weeks now, here's what I've progressed on so far.





A new dwarven area will be added for smelting ores into ingots, and blacksmithing.


I also built a cave for starter players to mine copper & tin.
