Need help with a Net card

My friend cannot currently use his pc because he re-installed win7, and it did not recognize the net card driver. There are no other pcs in the house, and he has 2 flash drives. Is there any way to fix this without him having to come to alabama (which he is eventually)?

P.S. He has no ethernet cable
