Author Topic: Need to flip a build  (Read 1127 times)

Is there a command to flip a build along an axis?

Doubt it considering not all blocks exist in a sideways/upside down state.

If blockland still has support for mission editor you can flip the build using it.

Do you mean to mirror it?

Do you mean to mirror it?

Yes, but not upside down, as others have been hinted to.

I have a building that I need oriented differently, mirrored across a wall, such that the right and left sides switch.

I looked around in mission editor, but I couldn't figure it out.

I'm a bit rusty on this so I might be wrong
Press F3 and select every brick then in one of the boxes enter 180 to flip it halfway.

How do I select bricks?

How do I select bricks?
It uses a click and drag method iirc. You select stuff ingame the way you would select many icons on your computer

Ok, I got the brick selection thing down, but the only box choices available were position, rotation, and scale.

Scale by -1 and move the bricks so they're back in brick grid. It's probably not going to work but apart from manually building it this is your best chance.

You could write a script to flip all of the positions in the save file.

I'll try this, otherwise I give up and will just remake it.

It isn't an entire save file I want flipped, though.  It's big enough that it would be a lot of work to rebuild it, but it's not the entire file.

I should go to be now, I quoted the wrong person that second time.

Meant to quote this.

Oh, and sorry for double post.
