Author Topic: What can I use this big extra floor for?  (Read 2327 times)

softscrub (22890) back again with a question. I'm making this recreation of the Phoenix West II Resort in Orange Beach, and it is massive.... I've only almost completed the garage, which is the only structure in the pic. It's not a rooftop area and it's kind of just awkward space with an elevator stop. I need help with using this extra floor (the one with the white boxes detailing it, and the arrows pointing to it) and I would like to hear what y'all can suggest. It has to stay there since the parking garage elevator stops there, but I have no idea what to use it for. I'd appreciate y'all's help and input.... thanks!

Thats a nice build. But as for your question, id say just to make it accessable and then save the space if you need extra room to make elevated interrior ceilings

I have a few ideas:

1. Helicopter pad
2. Outdoor pool
3. DJ Area with Dance Floor
And 4. A bar

that is beautiful.

make it a creepy attic.

Thanks guys, great suggestions! One more thing, because this will help you: This isn't a rooftop area. It's like a weird floor that is empty but there's still an elevator stop at it. Thanks again!

And 4. A bar

^ and that's a great idea that I hadn't thought of... a restaurant or bar! Great idea.

it would probably serve best as storage of food/complimentary stuff/storage for housekeeping stuff/piping and elevator access/staff rest areas/roof access.

what about a pool? not an outdoor, but an indoor pool with chairs near the windows.

maybe with a bar added in

yeah, lets put a loving pool on the top floor

anyways will you submit this to gallery? it looks really nice haha I wanna check it out

A gallery
with the arts

I would make a big attic because that's how I always imagine the area over rooms where people can look at people through holes in the ceiling. :()

yeah i was thinking that, but then again it just doesnt seem right with an accesible roof.

I like the look of that spacer, though. I suggest a simple closet, or something small and windowless like that, which wouldn't require messing up the spacer.

it's not a shadow of a percent done. The resort itself is freakin massive; I expext it to be done soon, but it will be gigantic. This is only the parking garage haha
