Just a thought. With plastic, you have something disposable and something that doesn't require washing, and metal silverware is more appealing to the eye, and probably less expensive to use in the longrun.

I personally prefer the lightweight feel of plastic spoons and knives over metal, and plastic doesn't stick to my ramen either. Which do you prefer?

Plastic because I loving hate when people scrape their teeth on metal forks

yup. and less things to load into the dishwasher

All I need is one titanium spork

You guys are crazy. Metal all the way.

Plastic for the non heat conducting spoons when eating hot souuup!

Metal forged from meteorites

everything becomes space food.

metal. feels better, cuts better.

i don't see how anyone could use plastic knives
they're so flimsy and weird compared to metal knives

I'm going towards metal. Sure it costs more, but it's less malleable and it's built to last a long time. I don't like it when plastic forks break when I eat beef.

I prefer metal because they actually have weight in your hand, and are generally stronger and better at cutting things.

I couldn't even use plastic to eat a salad, let alone a piece of meat.

metal, all the time.
