Airline attendants thrown from plane when it hits ground

Damn. I can only imagine. They survived but they have serious injuries.

I mean if I was flying forward that fast I wouldn't mind dying. I would go out in style, soaring through the air before hitting something. My last few seconds airborne.

Except I wouldn't want that airplane situation. I would be too worried about passengers to enjoy my horizontal ride.

Instead of being likr "Oh stuff"

I'd be like forget forget forget forget forget

What's up with all the 777s lately

I don't know, do you think they're gonna pull another Douglas and pull them out of the air?

No they wouldn't do that as many triple 7s there are lol..

Those are some dumb pilots

wtf?
There's a possibility of pilot error, since they turned off the computer and decided to land manually. Correct me if this is how it works

erm, pilots land manually all the time unless its a CAT IIIa, b, or c ILS approach... CAT III is when the plane is coming in on an ILS approach and the visual range of the runway is less than 700 feet. In that situation the autopilot would touch down and disengage in which case the captain would immediately engage reverse thrust/commence normal procedures during landing. They do however have an option to use the AP.
