Wow. These things were fast.
And I was driving it. It's fun to not have to stop at stoplights, just keep on driving and speeding up. While going across the slums area I noticed bums in alleyways, or running to hiding, and people staring out of their windows or putting boards up. This place was pretty much your average poor area. The humvee's engine was loud as hell for some reason, but that's probably because of the speed. I began to slow it down a little, and as it did I could hear it's echo for a couple of seconds in the silent sky. I flicked on the headlights since everything seemed so grey since it was a cloudy day. Yep, the roads seemed to be more worse than last time. We should get to the forest soon. "So, how was your day?" I ask jokingly, since there was almost nothing to do rather than listen to some radio playing music that ended up getting overlapped by the ham radio every now and then. I turned the spotlight on the side of the humvee on as we slowed down and used a switch to move it around. "Nothing out of the ordinary here, rather than people giving us bad looks and huddling in alleyways."
