glados sorta sounded like glados, but wasn't glados entirely, if that makes sense

to whoever said the jaegers dont work together, there's a point when the striker and gypsy work together in a fight for a good solid 20 minutes

yes most of the movie is in the dark, there's a flashback where striker fights a kaiju and that's in the bright daytime. the rain does NOT cover the "stuffty" cgi. the cgi in the movie was absolutely amazing so

The romance was barely there throughout the movie, it only showed up at the end. It was pretty subtle too, I'm glad they didn't end it with a kiss. That would've been stuff.

Just saw it. I loved it. Lots of metal grinding action to appreciate and watching the monsters fight the mecha were just glorious. I say this movie is pretty well balanced. The most it made me feel was that it was the image of what a movie is in its basic form.

also, they tried to make the computer sound like an early Soviet film computer, and promptly forgeted Ellen's voice up. i don't have headphones that work with my PC yet, but the second top comment exclaims "WHAT HAVE THEY DONE WITH GLADOS?!" so I kind of have an idea of what I'm talking about.
