Author Topic: Anyone else sick of the Trayvon Martin case?  (Read 6319 times)

televised cases are bad for justice. The media goes batstuff insane over them and paints them in a horrible manner. The police couldn't charge Zimmerman because they didn't have enough evidence, and yes, trayvon is dead and that's awful, but the prosecution was a loving trainwreck for most of the trial. The media forgets with the process of justice and I don't believe cameras should be allowed in a courtroom, other than what's already there for security purposes. I sure as hell wouldn't like having a camera shoved in my face while on trial, and the prosecution forgeted up by trying to overcharge zimmerman. Manslaughter is a way more realistic charge than second degree murder, for murder you have to prove it was intentional and in cold blood and they're never going to prove that. The credibility of the prosecution died for me personally after hearing the charges that they put out (even going so far as CHILD ABUSE) and after that awful witness who couldn't read a letter she supposedly wrote, contradicted herself so many times. I hate to say it but I hope Zimmerman walks because the prosecution did an awful job. And because of media involvement in this case, Zimmerman's life is forgeted either way because the media has portrayed him as a stone cold killer to the general public, and I'd wager that someone tries to kill zimmerman after all is said and done.

I heard that the black panthers put a bounty on zimmerman, so yeah, lots of people are probably going to try to kill him lol.

even if they didn't kill him, his life is forgeted, it'd be so hard for him to find a job and he can never live normally again

Men's Wearhouse Spokesman is an innocent man

i live in florida
anyone else?

Pretty sure Men's Wearhouse Spokesman was under orders to follow anyone he deemed suspicious by the local police department.

when zimmerman walks, load your guns and get ready for the 2013 chimpout.

Speaking of the law Florida's stand your ground law pretty much says you're free of prosecution if it was in self-defense. Even if you didn't retreat.

Also, recent chain of home robbers by teenage to young adult black males, police department, etc. etc.

So a guy shot a guy and guy died and guy doesn't really have reason to shoot guy but did.

Why is it controversial again?

Media involvement is what made the case as controversial as it is now. They pointed so many fingers without speaking of evidence, and the prosecution overcharged Zimmerman because his image had already been thrown in the mud and stomped on by the media. There are holes in both sides of the case and it'd be terrible to see it shift one way because of public favor.

this case is loving gay
nobody cares about it yet they keep televising it and stuff
