Tezuni Please Read: Freekilling

this is part of why i don't really like the idea of hosting such things (in my case my fort wars servers) as dedicated. they require constant administration of everything will go to stuff in no time.

A mod could be made to automatically enforce rules, and Ive seen it before.
But there are problems with that too, because crossfire kills are accidental, but people would get kicked for it.
Every method has its problems, it isn't a simple solution.

As far as I go though, I'll come help if I'm on BL.
I'm rarely on when nobody is, but the three bans this guy is referring too may have been me.
I used my sisters key to spy, came on as admin and bam bam bam.

I think excessive freekiling in the absence of administration should carry heavier consequences.

Right now my system flags potential free-killers in chat for mods and admins to question.

However, accidents happen.  Prisoners disobey orders.  Things that script can't accurately detect will occur.

So you can't have a script actively reviving and slaying people as long as there's potential for mistakes.  That's why we use humans!

Why not instead of killing prisoners for defiance, make a tool that sends players back to their cells on click.

Disobeying = Death/Ban exists in all Jail RPs in order to cut corners to get the server up and running. Like Dezcaban said, Tezuni wants the server up just so players can join so he can get fame. While that's not really a bad thing to do because people appreciate the server and want it up, Tezuni should've thought about this at the very beginning, or at least updated it.

I'm also considering Tezuni a badmin with the "Forum_Troll" ban reasons. He bans people from his server because he personally hates them and/or that person made a drama about his server, not because that specific person is actually a forum troll or annoyed people on his server. It's an excuse to avoid confrontation and an act of being a badmin. You don't just point at a person arguing about your server and call him a troll, that's stupid.

But he is one of the most known people on the forums, and his server is one of the top servers.

Now before you go and say "Players =/= quality," lemme tell you something.
Even if the server isn't quality, there are still people who love to play there.
There are still players OTHER THAN BLOCKHEADS AND NOOBS who still play there.
There are people who can get freekilled and NOT bitch about it on the forums.

The people we have that love playing are the kind who are okay with waiting 4 damn minutes to respawn and play the next round.

If you are the kind of person who is going to publicly criticize the server Tezuni puts work, money, and time into, without caring for a response or if he is even listening;
If you are the kind of person who spends 20 minutes writing a flaming post saying how much you hate Tezuni instead of waiting 4 MINUTES to respawn;
Then YOU sir have no place in the server.

Some bans are uncalled for, some bans are stupid.
Some bans make you scratch your head thinking "wtf is that ban reason supposed to even mean"

But stuff like this is asking for a ban:

Well he's still Host, and you're still banned, sooooooooo can't really help ya there.
That last part tho, it seems sketchy, but again, can't help ya.

i've yet to see one done well, or even one that at least has a build that doesn't look like ass.

There are only two jails I've ever seen with extreme build quality.
The Brighter Dark's and Crown's
Crown's is the only one I've seen last, Dark's had a little too much realism...

I discerned that it was stuff based on the amount of chaos that occurs when admins are not present.

People have been banned for NO REASON AT ALL, literally, just "forum_troll_(playername)" after giving constructive criticism (not just "server is stuff", they point out what's going wrong and he bans them).
