Something like that, and I was wrong. Drive isn't the right word, card is.

dont need new case fans or fancy cpu heatsink/fan units.
a half decent case will cover all the heat issues.

those upgrades are for high end comps ($2000.00+)
where overclocking and "bigger" more powerful parts are running.

wow that's actually pretty cool but i'm pretty sure it'll interfere with the wireless card
besides do you reaaallly need that many usb ports?

I don't know about you, but most people use a USB Keyboard, a USB mouse, an sometimes USB speakers/headphones/headsets and microphones. Unless you plan on using USB hubs, I'd suggest finding a USB Card with more than one USB port, even though any extra are essentially just like using a hub.

my motherboard had like 8 onboard USB ports, why would you need more than that?

IMO wireless cards are a waste of time.
So I started with a USB wifi dongle. It would overheat randomly, (don't ask me to explain how IDK) giving me stuffty speeds. I switched to a PCI express wireless card and got ~15mbps, and it would lag when I played games because my graphics card was pouring heat on top of it, to the point where my ping was in the thousands. Finally I settled on an ethernet cord that goes down the stairs, and now I get ~25mbps down, and no lag while I play games.

Crap....Now to add another $15 Dollars to the build for a Cheap optical drive for cd's, Oh and the pc i have right now is windows 7, so i was just going to use the same disk for this computer and use it on the Custom pc
