Author Topic: Would you want to be cryogenically frozen?  (Read 3934 times)

Say you are about to die and you have the money to be preserved for possible revival at later date, could be hundreds of years in the future.

Would you want to do it?

I would have to say yes. I have nothing to lose anyway.

id do it now so i can live a life in the future.

i would also bring some stuff in that would cost millions. so then i could be rich too

Yeah, I wouldn't have much to lose, but id better not come back looking like a zombie.

If I could afford it, definitely.

i would only do it if I could be transformed into a robot in the future.

no, because you would invariably die in any time period and if you did decide to do it you would be awoken to an unknown future with unknown people, and everyone you ever knew would be dead

that's depressing and pointless, so no way

Thank you.

kearn's right
that would be pretty chilly
eh? ehhh?

then you must have a really depressing life

im going to die anyways, might as well enjoy the life that i have now instead of just ending it and then starting a new one 100 years later. i could find way better things to do with that money then to spend it on freezing myself, its not like im a genius or something so there wouldnt really be a reason.
