Author Topic: Issue with Blockland Key - Not Authenticating  (Read 1377 times)

This just hit me when I started up blockland a few days ago.

For some reason, now, whenever I join a game, it immediately kicks me out without even hitting the loading screen because it "Failed to authenticate my blockland ID". To complicate matters further, RTB even refuses to log me in because of the same reason. I tried to reenter my Key, but even when I successfully reentered my Blockland Key, it still refused to accept me for the exact same reasons.

Anyone have any ideas as to whats wrong? I really want to play Blockland again.

have you shared your key with over forty people?

also do you have to computers that aren't on the same internet

My computer runs on the same Internet, and no, I never shared my key with anyone.

i am having the same problem too i have not shared my key/have any other cpus on the internet.

Do you have Hamachi or similar software installed?

If any of these prior suggestions fail, I would email support@blockland.us

No i never had it installed.

sorry for double post but here is what probally happend.

after i switched to my new internet of course my ip ( i think) changed for internet since it uses the ip for my old internet  it thinks i am a person that's trying to steal my own id so it locks me out .

If I am correct, this only happens when two people at the same time (Different IP's) tries to use the same ID, or the distance is over a certain amount (Probably about 600 miles or so).

Cause I usually go to my grandparent's house alot (Meaning my IP would be different, since its a different connection), and take my laptop there to play Blockland, and I've never got revoked because of that, and I also went to visit my dad's side of my family a couple states across, and played Blockland there.

If anything, your probably typing in the key wrong, make sure you are by looking at each letter and comparing it to your email with your key.

If not, do what Pandan suggested.

No, that's not right. Please don't use that type of speculation in the Help board. You will only confuse people.

If that fails, rename your add-ons folder to "Add-Ons OLD" and try again.
