Author Topic: My friend cannot join my dedicated server  (Read 1302 times)

My friend seems to be unable to join my dedicated server but I can. I've tried resetting the server a bunch of times, forwarded the port, and reset my server computer. Why isn't he able to join?

Did you forward the port 28000 or something else?
If you forwarded another port, open the advanced settings and type in the actual port that you forwarded

Post your console log.

No
Then do this (long list, credits to Thehellspy):
1: make a non-dedi server
2:make 100 bricks
3: clear em
4: quit bl
5: join a game
6:then refresh
7:host your game.

Ask your friend to join, if he can then end the server and start up the dedi.

What? OP, we'll need a console log to see exactly what's going on.

I think this was sort of "cobbled up" because bricks have nothing to do with connection.
