Author Topic: Rendering problems  (Read 1316 times)

My blockland seems to be messed up. When I am in a game the textures look extremely low quality and the rendering is messed up as well. Also I have everything set to max (except shaders) including my draw distance and textures. I have also tried reinstalling blockland and deleting all my addons.

I have an Intel Pentium p6200 CPU @ 2.13 GHz (dual core), Intel HD graphics, 6 GB of RAM. It is also a laptop if that helps

Did you try restarting after changing the graphical settings? I think texture quality and the sort only take effect after a restart.

I tried that and it didn't work. The skybox also looks very low quality as well.

open up options and select this

after doing this restart blockland

he said he did that in OP
I realize this, but I was pretty sure that this was the problem, I took an image just to clarify, if he had done it wrong somehow

It once took me several times restarting for my texture problems to fix themselves.

Go into Blockland\config\client and open prefs.cs with notepad or a similar text editor. Scroll down and find $pref::TextureQuality = "x". Read the number that is in the place of x.

In addition to what they said, try typing flushTextureCache(); in console.

I'm on his pc right now and the texture quality in prefs is at 0

My *Better* Computer runs it fine I do not know what is happening

Mine is at 0 too even though it's maxed. Same goes for BrickFXQuality, PhysicsQuality, etc. OP needs to change his GPU driver settings with the included control panel as you can force texture quality through there.
