It would've been better to ask these in the megathread, but the sooner the thread gets locked, the better.
1. No, the minimum requirement to being a furry is if you want to identify yourself as one, and if you like the idea of anthropomorphism, or any art that comes out of it. Simple.
2. This differs from person to person. Admittedly, humanized animals can be arousing, but I personally have a dislike towards animals in general, real or drawn. If it were between a real person and a real furry/anthro, I'd pick the person. However if I were also a furry, I would pick the furry.
Note that, again, #2 differs widely from person to person, and the concept of "furry" doesn't at all revolve around one definite, central belief, just like any other fandom.
