I don't know much about the case, but all the actual arguments I've heard seem to point to the same conclusion the jury made, that he's innocent. Yet everyone, even the president, seems to want to make this about race.
From what I gather, it was raining, he looked like he was on drugs and acting very suspicious, I think Zimmerman worked with the police or had connection with them so he very well could have known to keep an eye out for people like that due to recent activity, martin randomly started running away. That's EXTREMELY suspicious. I wouldn't at all be surprised if Martin jumped Zimmerman before being shot and it was done in self defense, or if Zimmerman was trying to just slow him down- not kill him, because he was certain that he was up to no good.
There are so many people nowadays that are so self conscious that they think everyone around them is being prejudice towards them. I highly doubt this had anything to do with race, it's ridiculous
He actually kinda did.
He said that martin had a huge, suspicious background. And he also said that it seems like it's a no brainer that it was in self defense. Now let's put two and two together and realize that he meant Zimmerman was jumped by Martin and because of Martin's background, panicked and took drastic measures
