Butterfly knives are overrated. I blame TF2.

Now this is a knife

Butterfly knives are cool and were cool prior to TF2. They are flashy and not very practical.

But we live in a society where the practicality of a knife isn't the most important thing when buying a knife, because we don't hunt our own food and guns are generally better for self defense.

I have one that looks exactly like that in my drink drawer.
Sadly its not mine though :c. I do however have 2 other pocket knifes.

Shotguns are the bomb.

best handgun in my opinion

Actually, ICBMs are the bomb.

Those are missiles honestly.

that's actually just an explosive charge, Fat Man and Little Boy are the bomb.

You win :c

When I turn 18 I plan on having me some sort of rifle/shotgun to keep in the house incase someone breaks in. Whats a good weapon for that? I was thinking 12 gauge but that'd be overkill.

We need to revive Yukis weaponry thread

Sniper is te worst choice on the poll why would you even need to kill zombies when they can't get to you

IS a 12 gauge overkill?
i don't really think it's overkill
besides, i'm pretty sure civilian loads are reduced power and stuffz

why not 20 gauge then
lighter, less recoil, and the loss of stopping power is pretty negligible because 20 gauge still packs a punch

I think the 12 gauge is overkill when it comes to home protection because the goal isn't to blow their head off.

A 20 gauge would probably work however, I'll be looking into it when I turn 18.

actually i just derped there
you can get different loads you know

like you're not going to use birdshot to defend your house for example
because then you'd break everything

i think you should look up what loads are readily available locally
for example they might not have normal 20G buckshot loads while they may for the 12G et cetera
buckshot also comes in all different sizes too

but then you also have slugs which then a 20G may be the most appropriate for because, numerically speaking, a 20G slug would still be a .615 gauge projectile according to Wikipedia; along with whatever advantages a 20G has over a 12G.

if that's not a man stopper idk what is lol
