Author Topic: Changing the name and deleting the entire OP before locking  (Read 2198 times)

its annoying
i want to know what was being locked :(

Yeah, I want to know too, but was this really necessary?
It would be better if it was in off-topic.

go read the rules for this section and then rethink this post

I dont see any rules against complaining about people deleting everything in their thread before locking it.

you didnt look hard enough'
"this is not a spam board"

Things you can post here:

Stories of online betrayal
How tribal/offensive/noobish certain users are
Who you should or should not ban/admin

This isn't spam though. Just because the OP isn't filled with millions of glittery sparkles doesnt mean it can qualify as spam.
The title spoke for itself.

this would still suit off topic
normally, dramas are for individual users who have done nefarious things
not complaining about some stuff like this man

Look at the /support drama topic.

i dont see your point
thats a valid topic about a statement that is on the borderline of breaking one of the rules
this now
this is nothing

I support this.
It is very annoying when there are topics with a deleted OP and the title changed.
If anything they are just spamming the forums.
Soo yea
/support

i dont see your point
thats a valid topic about a statement that is on the borderline of breaking one of the rules
this now
this is nothing
/support isn't breaking one of the rules at all though.

besides I agree on this, it does get annoying

you can get an idea of what was there by checking the subject above a post, its usually "re: original topic name"

That usually doesnt help much though, more-so I wanna know whats IN the topic.
The topic name sometimes sounds like something that was worthy to keep in the OP.

i don't see the problem, you just seem to be very curious about things and are sad because you weren't there to see whatever the thread was about, even if it was probably something stuffty.

But sometimes you are embarassed of what you posted, so I think it is necessary.
