amit5345, I see you're looking for some stories about Renderman's existence. I have been looking, too. Well, I had been. I hadn't really believed the stories, at all, until I had encountered Renderman myself.
I always found the stories somewhat interesting, though I never did think that they actually happened. But when I met Renderman, interest turned to horror and I ended up shutting my computer down and running away, into the safety and comfort of my parents' room. This sparked me leaving Blockland for an extremely long time, until now.
The renderman myths were just starting to sprout up more when I finally decided to try my hand at investigating the myth. Being only nine at the time, I did not understand the whole concept. What is Renderman, and what does he do? After reading a forum post (it's deleted now) I realized I had to load up Festung de Shwarzung and see if it was a real occurance that he existed.
So I started up Blockland and changed my name to "The Dominator". I don't know why, it just made me feel more... well it made me feel bigger and better than the scary monster that I was about to encounter. When I started up my game, something was different, though.There was no piano sound when I scrolled over the menu options, and my player was blank, although I had set my player to be wearing a green suit. I didn't know what was going on and I was thoroughly creeped out.
When I started up the game, I named it something simple: Rman. But when I looked at it before it flashed to the loading screen, it said Renderman Is Here. I didn't know what to think of it then, but when it loaded and the image was not the bright backdrop and instead one with inverted colors, I freaked. I cowered in the computer chair and looked around to see. It was still daylight. My parents were asleep. I opened the curtains, turned the TV on so I wouldn't be scared, and continued.
When I loaded up Festung de Schwarzung, there kept being an error. "Error: Load Not Activated." Nobody had ever seen this error before, so I figured it was a bug with the newest update. So I kept going. Then after the sixth try, it finally loaded. Some bricks were missing, but I could live with that.
I immediately climbed up to the top and realized that all the bricks were there. Weird. I hadn't seen some of the bricks when it loaded. Must have been a slow load. So I walked down, checked all the floors, saw nothing that the forum user had seen in his chronicle of a fateful encounter. Then the sky changed. Rapidly, too, the skybox was changing, the map was changing, everything was changing. (But this was not an option added until v21.) So I was horrified.
And when Renderman came, I was cowering. So where was he? He was at the bottom floor. I went down there, and he disappeared. Then he appeared on the top. I went up there, and this time he didn't disappear. Suddenly, an emote sounding like Pooh the Bear crying was heard, and his face changed and his body color also changed, to the screaming face. i was scared. Horrified. As I ran to my parent's room, I heard sparks and the computer turned black. I threw away the computer, got a new one, and never touched Blockland until only recently.
