Author Topic: Badspot encourages messaging the support team for help, then doesn't care.  (Read 7466 times)

I agree with the OP that Badspot ignores support

I lost 2 of my keys to the dont post links to shock sites rule because i was posting an image and didnt bother to check the URL against badspot's list of banned websites and badspot completely ignored my several emails, messages in the forum, and attempts to talk to him in his blockland server.

*flies away*
The problem is that if Badspot posts a master list of the shock sites, then everyone who goes a-forum-bombing won't try to post from those sites and will therefore continue their rampage until an administrator returns.
Granted, I did not get my forum account unbanned from the shock site thing either, but I figured something would happen sooner or later and had an alt already prepared, using my ingame name this time. That, and I couldn't be assed to wait a week for my other account to be unbanned. Meh. In retrospect, stupidity.

It is your fault for linking to something that isnt allowed.

To be fair, there is no master list of what is a shock site, and the images were innocent, it's just that the hosting site was full of shock material.

Will you please calm down. Bad spot doesn't have to keep track of your stuff. It's your fault for not writing it down or something like that to remember it.
Crinnggeeeee

Op calm down and just send him an email containing the Name of the creditcard used to purchase the key, maybe like the first 5 digits of it and the email that was used when the key was sent to you.

i bet his first email he was trying to recover a key improperly and wanting badspot to confirm op's "proof" of ownership or use.

inb4 drama dossier on OP.

loving autocorrect

IF YOU WANT SUPPORT, YOU PROBABLY SHOULDNT SEND RAGE MAIL

ITS REALLY ANNOYING TO WATCH YOU SIT BACK AND RAGE AS AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY IS TRYING TO LOOK AT DRAMA!

IF YOU ARE GOING TO WORK ON A DRAMA TOPIC, PROVIDE PROOF AND DO NOT RAGE AT THE ONE WHO YOU EXPECT HELP FROM, NOT JUST LAZE AROUND AND RAGE AT THE PEOPLE THAT CREATED THE GAME

WAKE UP ALREADY. PWNON

sorry i couldnt resist

also the easiest way for Badspot to make fun of you
also the easiest way to get your dog kicked, this happened to Boston Terrier (haha, get it?)

I don't see a reason for a drama dossier, all he did was send a rage email to badspot.

The key recovery system is pretty bad right now. If I log onto Blockland using the same key I lost, why isn't that considered 'proof of purchase'? Seriously, I bought this game like 6 years ago and there's no way I'll remember which Paypal account I purchased the game with.

Badspot, if you're reading this, 6758.

I think it's a reasonable expectation that your customers can manage to hold onto the email account they used to purchase your game.  If you can manage that strenuous task then key recovery works just fine.

Now wait just one minute. For 2 years now, I've been trying to recover two keys from my mother's email which hold my key and my sister's key. We never have received one email, never. Luckily, I have my key memorized but my sister doesn't even know the first 5 digits of her's. It doesn't work well for me and it never has.

That's why I saved my key and my alt key to three TXT files located on my flash drive, my laptop, and the shoddy desktop that we have.
