I worry about the car we have that's left that my stepdad TOOK TO WORK.

If it floods in there too there's no leaving Virginia Beach,

It rained a lot, and I think there was a flash flood warning at one point. We live near the beach, so that's entirely possible.
Salt doesn't evaporate with the water, so it should be fine.  However you will have to rebuild and clean the motor, and replace all the fluids Blockzillahead said to.  And by rebuild I mean completely take the engine apart, clean it, and put it back together.  While you're at it you might as well do the same with the transmission.  Whatever you do though, if you do take it apart, DO NOT CLEAN IT WITH MORE WATER.  Wipe it clean and spray brake cleaner in it.
