Author Topic: What is your favorite/least favorite insect/bug/creepycrawly? (Read 4104 times)

After being stung by a yellowjacket while mowing my grandparents yard today, I just had to ask the forum this.

For me, favorite is the bumblebee, least favorite is the yellowjacket.

I hate insects that can bite me and can potentially poison me to death.

Favorite: Anything that is not a spider.
Least favorite: Anything that is a spider.

Least favourite is basically any stinging insect.

Mainly Wasps and Bees.

My favourite, although I don't like being near them, are Ants.
And my favourite ant, out of it's impressiveness is the Driver Ant.

Spiders aren't technically insects.

They have 8 legs, rather than 3 pairs of 2 (6 legs).
But I always lump them alongside insects anyway. I don't like them at all.

I've never heard of driver ants, however from the looks of it they are very similar to fire ants.

Favorite: The social insects. (ants/bees/termites)
Least favorite: Technically not insects but included for the reason Sir Dooble mentioned, centipedes.

Favorite: Pill Bugs, They're tiny and roll up into a ball when they're scared and stuff.
Least Favorite: Ants, I'm pretty sure everyone in the whole loving world hates ants.
