Author Topic: NES Issues  (Read 2078 times)

As most of you guys know, I got a NES a few months ago and kinda raged when the guy didn't get me a PSU. I'm having issues again. I have 2 games ATM, Super Mario Duck Hunt and Golf. I could not get SMDH to work, so I cleaned it thoroughly with a q-tip, still didn't work. I tried Golf, it works but you have to reset a few times. I got SMDH to work today but for some reason it started up on Duck Hunt, I don't have a zapper so I can't play it. Is there some kind of technique or something to get it working at least?

I think you might need to take the NES back to whoever sold it to you, it sounds like its broken to me, correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think it's broken, like I said, golf works fine.

Maybe the cartridges are broke?

Try getting a new cartridge of any game and see if that works?

I'm gonna go to the game store and buy another copy of Super Mario Bros. I can't return SMDH, I tore the label off...

Cartridges almost never break, trust me. The consoles normally break.

Try blowing a lot of fast air into the cartridges and keeping qtiping it.

i can't even comment on this without managing to insult you in some manner

The SMDH sometimes has a still screen but its random jumbles of numbers and shapes.

Not THAT label, the one the video store slaps on right on the loving title on the cartridge.

The SMDH cartridge I have also has problems sometimes. Blow air in the cartridge and get dust out.

Try jiggling it up, down, back and forth in your NES to try to get the game to start correctly.
