Many of you probably don't know who or what Johnny Castaway is, so I shall explain! Johnny Castaway was a screensaver developed in 1992/93 by Sierra and Screen Antics.
Now you're probably thinking "why is there a topic of a screensaver that was made 20 years ago." Well, this screensaver I grew up with, and it's sort of like an experience. The main plot of the screensaver is that Johnny is stranded on a tiny island. He fishes, reads a book, and goes swimming (etc.), but sometimes there are rare little things that happen. Like occasionally a shark will try to eat him, or he'll start melting. It's split up into 12 or so days, so there's a story that goes with the screensaver too. Sadly, it doesn't really work on Vista, 7, or 8, without a strange walkthrough or something, but it works on XP as I last remembered. It was written for Windows 3.1 and it's 16-bit, so current versions of Windows doesn't normally run it.
