Author Topic: I hate being nocturnal.  (Read 1944 times)

Sleep at 1, wake up at 10
Not as bad as last year, I stayed up till 3 almost every night.
Also Choi is in Japan speaking the kawaii~ so you could talk with him
I got back 2 days ago

I just don't get tired around midnight, and I just say "forget it" and end up staying up until 5 am, then 6 the next day, then 7, 8, all the way up to noon, and my "natural bedtime" seems to get stuck there for some reason.

* Kingdaro shrugs.
thats just you wanting to jack off to anime all night, stay up for a whole day then go to sleep at a normal time. actually do something with youre time so you actually have a reason to be awake during the day. i dont know how someone can literally find nothing to do but be on a computer.

My dream career / profession revolves around the use of a computer. Some people say things akin to "sucking the life out of you" by using a computer so often, but it's not like I'm malnourished or can't hold a normal conversation or anything like that.

Plus, there's more to do than just "jacking off to anime all night", which I've never actually done. Plenty of games, plenty of game creation, tumblr, foruming, FA, following series' on youtube, learning more about programming/scripting languages, loving around with my WM and desktop a bit and learning more about it, roleplay, etc.

I like to see it as an entire alternate reality. A reality composed of ones and zeroes.

I'm nocturnal as well. I remember when I was around 11 I always sneaked downstairs for a drink or a fudge-striped cookie or some stuff lol.

Welcome to the club!

I'm a night owl as well, and I had finally found out a way to control my sleeping habits.

i hate to inform you that living your entire life on the computer isnt healthy. great, you want to go into them as a career, dedicate a couple hours a day and let that be it. or better yet, youre 17, go get a job and do something useful. unless you plan on living the rest of your life playing video games and roleplaying then ok lol

You speak as though you don't understand what recent breakthroughs in technology can bring you, and you only try to demoralize my intentions.

That's fine; I'll go ahead and let you cloud your own vision.

Denial of computer addiction isn't something you want.

it's not very hard to curve your sleeping schedule in small increments for the sake of health

For some reason this made me remember once during breakfast at school I told my friends "I swear I have insomnia." because I couldn't sleep well at night and all that, and they all went "dude only animals get that"

you're an animal, decepticon, an animal ! !

When the time comes, yeah, I can mostly return to a "normal" sleeping schedule, but despite how annoying it can be being the only one up at this time, I still don't care enough to make an attempt, especially when it'll just revert back in a couple of days.

And with that, I'm going to bed.

the main problem is probably that you apparently have nothing to do ever so you can lethargically ruin your schedule
good luck with life

I got your problem too, but what i do is i go on Blockland, that's sure to put me to sleep with the amount of servers I'm banned from. Its no fun anymore.
