I just found a big beetle on my driveway

i was just outside and i found this big loving beetle on my driveway so i took a picture of it



can someone help me find out what kind it is?

It also had wings and it made a hissing noise.

It kind of looks like this 'Palo Verde Beetle' but I don't really know. I just saw it on Google images and thought they looked similar.
