Author Topic: Are there any good music programs for windows?  (Read 2407 times)

I'm sick of iTunes' stuffty everything, and I want a better program to store and listen to my music with.

Winamp, started using it a few years ago and I haven't looked back

iTunes
IDK, actually. Probably going to be VLC.

Better yet, what exactly is your issue with iTunes?

Also don't use VLC, it's complete stuff for audio. It somehow makes it all detuned.

Winamp.

VLC

It's okay as a video player, but worthless for a music library.

iTunes is the software incarnation of Satan, Voldemort, Saddam Hussein, and Big Bird all combined. I don't see how anyone could stand to use it for anything except to access their fancy Apple mobile devices, and even that is hard sometimes.

except for the fact that it's really not that bad.  It's pretty bad that everyone hates iTunes for some reason, yet Steam is the best thing ever.  Any computer from the last 5 years should run iTunes, plus the UI is pretty good.  Really the only bad part is syncing with devices because it likes to randomly delete everything.

VLC

Yeah, like the first 6-12 seconds of a song is out of pitch under Windows. It's recognized as a bug.

Foobar, Winamp, XMPlay, VLC, Banshee, Audacious, Amarok, MediaMonkey, Songbird, Spotify, Quod Libet
