The Doctor Who Discussion Thread - Peter Capaldi is the New Doctor

I don't like Doctor Who. I don't really see why it's so popular, mainly I just dislike it for the idiotic kids in my class who say "You dont like doctor who? Im gonna kill you!"

TBH, the show's actually cool, but 13 year olds in my math class have ruined it for me.

I only made this one since there's gonna be a decent amount to discuss soon. New Doctor on Sunday it's looking like and then there's probably going to be a trailer at some point (maybe on Sunday to) to discuss and then in about three or four months we'll have the 50th. There's probably going to be some more info leading up to it to and then the Christmas special after it. :D

My only problem with Matt Smith is that his character just flip-flops constantly. One second he couldn't have a care in the world and he's being all silly, the next he's all somber and angry, talking about how old he is. It's too inconsistent to have weight. David Tennant was my favorite doctor.

When David did it, it made sense. He was just trying to cover up being so old and wise and guilty, but occasionally things would get out of hand and he'd lose his facade, Matt Smith just loses it for no reason.
