You're what's wrong with modern Who fans

I really liked 9/10, and Matt was good too. After Amy went the he was better.

I really wish David could have ad a longer run(even though it was pretty long compared to some others) or maybe get a split off of his own show. He was a phenomenal Doctor.
As far as I'm aware, David left for his own commitments.
He's a very good and very dedicated theatrical actor, and has a very close connection with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

I think the BBC would have kept him on for longer, if he himself didn't want to leave.
Eitherway, I'm sure it was a very hard decision.

i find it funny how a bunch of girls are crying about how he isn't someone all ~young~ and ~handsome~ and that they can't ~fall in love with him~
a bunch of people are like "peter looks like he belongs in a retirement home" even though he doesn't even look that old

That sounds good to me.
It's definitely got to be unhealthy on some level on the amount of young teenage girls who spend too much time idolising young men on TV or on the Radio.
Surely there are much better things to be captivated by at that age?

I'm happy to see a slightly older fellow play the Doctor.
It will be nice to see the series get a new spin to it.
Something we haven't seen since before the rebooted series.

Even though David was my Doctor, I think he left at the right time.
I agree.

Even though David was a great Doctor, I still think Moffat could run him into the ground.
He just really doesn't write Doctor Who that well.
I've not been enthralled in the series since Tennant left. And that's not just because of the change in actor.

That's funny, because the original Doctor Who series which started in 1963 started with the first three doctors being old.

Also, whenever I think of Peter Capaldi being the new Doctor, I think of this:

It's all the fangirls that started watching the show around Tennant's era. You wouldn't believe all the comments I've read that said "the Doctor should be young, not old!", etc.
