I turn the Jeep's engine on. "I have no idea. But there is a safe place in Canada. Maybe there will be more there." I press my foot on the gas and head for the highway.

"Yeah, I was heading up to Canada too, but I ended up getting stuck in a forest. My name is Devan Jill if you were wondering."

I chuckle for about 2 seconds. While throwing my beer can onto the ground, I ask him a question. "So, what's your plan? I'm just gonna walk to Canada until I'm safe from radiation."

"Alright then, here, I'll take off my backpack and stuff too. No use in carrying it around when I'm trying to relax. My day was exciting. I was looting some homes and someone was chasing after me, I didn't see them, though. Good riddance to them, anyways."
I take off my backpack and vest, then move it to the back of the plane. I find a nice comfortable seat that doesn't have anything on it, and I drift off to sleep.
