Author Topic: What is the Best Dedicated Hosting Service if my Paypal doesn't work?  (Read 4041 times)

People would say RTB hosting does not need you to have paypal, but the payment process still goes through paypal. The thing is, my card registered to paypal cannot be used in any paypal-based services. I can only use my card directly, such as in sites like Steam and Amazon.

I'd say you should try PM'ing Kalphiter. Kaphost is a private service right now, but he's usually open to making a deal.

Thanks! I thought Kaphost wouldn't work since his page said pay with paypal. I will try PMing him.

You should hold out for a few days, we're implementing Google Wallet as an alternate payment solution, would this work for you?

We had half developed a Google Checkout gateway on dev, but it wasn't finished and then Google discontinued it. Wallet implementation wasn't much work and it's beneficial to more than one person. I don't see a problem!

There's been a greyed out "Google Checkout" button on the Buy Server modal window since launch - it's definitely not something we just came up with. We've had mounting inquiries about an alternative payment method and I had some time to sort it out today.

Do you seriously have to bring it up as soon as Kaphost was announced though.

Why are you coming in here trying to make or continue drama? We've made a Google Wallet payment option to make our service accessible to more clients, there is no problem with that at all.
