Rate,  it's my first try. Don't be so negative.

Seriously, no offense but you keep posting this everywhere. It's furry art and if you want complete honesty, it's not all that good. Try to keep furry things in the furry thread like everyone else.

You should change your name to picasso.

It's not terrible
Perspective/proportioning a bit wonky mayhaps

Still, not worth crossposting etc.

You should've posted in the drawings megathread and left it at that.

I think this deserves a...

"NON ComERciAL" / 10

Hair is not realistic, eyes seem to be Flat, Nose seems to be a little too short for a creature like this, Not lots of detail all together, I recommend practicing, I've been doing such for almost months, If you checked the megathread, My art is, Odd at best.
So I'm not one to judge, you should lock this, Or you could be inspired for a "art How to" Thread. I dunno, what floats your boat.

Too heavy and clunky, line direction not consistent, details are either too fuzzy and muddled, or too sharp, or a mix of both that just turns out bland.

Fuzzy and muddled - those things at the cheeks
Sharp - the hairs at the back
Both - hair beneath the ears.

My art may be mediocre at best but going to a school where people's medium of art are either music or drawings, it's easy to spot kinks in drawings.
And use the coil technique if you plan on applying perspective, because as Pulse said, the nose is too short.

"don't be so negative"
what? seriously?
1. first time trying to make art! I probably should post it! bad idea. You can't make a low quality piece of art (i'm not insulting you, everyone starts from somewhere) and expect things on an average to be more than negative comments. There's sometimes the useful and tip-giving people and then there's the ones that say it's complete crap, without any thought about where you've come from and how you're starting.
2. you're denying reality that you're bad if you don't want people to mention your art being bad.

I've seen 3 year olds do worse so you're in the clear in my book. You are in need of major improvement.

Try to keep furry things in the furry thread like everyone else.
As I agree he's posted this in many different locations a little too much I will make sure I say this once. Just because you've made a successful fur related thread doesn't mean the art relating to the subject has to be confined to it as such, and you are in fact no speaking authority on the matter.

I'm not even trying to promote my topic remotely, or the fact that i run it.

The thing is that most, if not everyone, who does general furry art of sorts keeps it in the topic these days. Even i stopped posting furry art in the Drawings Megathread.

It keeps the hate levels to a low, and the furriness in the fur topic.

I don't even-- what.

I can't even describe this, it seems to be some goth wolf?
I see it's your "first try." <--highly un likely.

I'll give you credit for at least some detail, but try harder next time, take an art class or something.

Nice job, but try again.
