Even so if your parents are doing nothing whatsoever about it there's a serious issue.
My parents forbade me from buying a lock. All the doors inside our house have "privacy locks" but you can open em with a paper clip. And my parents forbade me from locking my door. The only solution was to steal stuff back, or in a rare few cases "borrow" it until he forgot about it.
Even though I did prove to them he stole some stuff from me.

My brother is kinda ike this but he doesn't steal or anything, he just flat-out trys to make me mad. Most times when my friend is over, and i have to go to the bathroom, i see my friend and my brother acting like they were best friends for life, and most times when i try to hurt him for payback, mom defends him, even when he really deserves it...

my sister's a bitch, and she's violent, but if she steals anything from me I don't know it
my stepbrothers all have issues of their own. the youngest one has serious anger issues, the next is a smartass, the next is a slight kleptomaniac (but he always asks you if he can have it first, before attempting to take it, so it's really easy to hide things before he can steal them), the next is actually pretty normal but acts a bit strange sometimes, and the oldest has ADHD and it's pretty frickin obvious
