Author Topic: So I decided to do a bit of math...  (Read 1725 times)

... and figured out that if I had continued posting at my current rate (based on this past week's average, which is 27 per day), I'd have over 9600 posts by now.

That's a lot for just under a year.

Ok, so now y'all do the same (based on this past weeks average amount of posts per day you've made), and figure out how close it is to your current number of posts. Formula for those who for some reason can't figure it out is: ((# of posts this week)/7)x(#number of days registered on the forum)

Edit: Part of the reason I have nowhere near that many posts/why my average is so low is based on the fact that I took a rather long break from the forums shortly after I registered.

Are you good at math?
Can you factor a fifty digit number for me?

What. Why?

Can you factor a fifty digit number for me?
Well if it's even den you can divide it by 2

that's as far as I can getcha

I see you like math, but what is the Potential of Hydrogen of bleach?
Ha, got you there forgeter

Potential what? Potential to burn? The potential of combustion of hydrogen peroxide is 1.8 volts.

What? Are you trying to say factorization is a difficult application of mathematics? It's basic algebra.

Did you mean, "What is the potential of hydrogen (peroxide) for use as a bleaching agent?"

how exactly is one supposed to determine the amount of posts they've made in the past week

Maybe you'll have to be excluded from this activity given you'll be sorting through approximately 300 posts from the last week.

Not counting this post.

"In chemistry, pH is a measure of the acidity or basicity of an aqueous solution. Solutions with a pH less than 7 are said to be acidic and solutions with a pH greater than 7 are basic or alkaline."
If I remember correctly bleach has a rating near 11.

That fifty digit number was posted as an end to an "alien-esque intelligence search" ARG once; if someone factored it the ARG could continue. It's not so much hard as it is boring and time-consuming.

using the week before today, so not including the posts I made today (it is currently August 3), I'd have about 36448 posts (rounded up)
