It's supposed to be like that.
If you were in before the s&s update, you would understand.

that doesn't change the fact that it looks terrible

Yeah, well, maps in prev. versions weren't architectural/topographic marvels either :3 remember SA?

yes, it was a map that looked like garbage
you must have missed badspot's remark that maps MIGHT have looked good in 2004 or so
are we supposed to be impressed by the ability to texture prisms?

Oh man this really brings up the good memories.

Yes yes yes yes yes

I understand it's a remake of an old map and you did a good job there. But it just wasn't a good map to begin with.

To be honest, one of Blockland's biggest faults is that you just can't really have large open areas like in Minecraft or GTA that look great without a ton of lag. Or at least, on the average person's computer you can't. Either you can have a decent sized structure that looks fantastic, a large build that looks good, or a huge build that's more functional than attractive. That's about all Blockland seems able to allow without performance loss

This would be cooler if there was some variety in the window prints and if there were like door frames on the buildings so they all look a bit more like buildings and less like window covered squares. Some variety in where the windows are placed would also help!

You should do this, man. It'd help with the look of the whole place.

I get your point, and yes, generic windows are not a good thing, can you help me with some ideas?

Couldn't have said it better

You can provide some easy variety by building some simple window frame shapes out of bricks and putting them on the sides of buildings. Tiny little ramped structures would help show entrances and exits to buildings, and window variety is easy. Just make a version of the print with lights on, with lights off, with blinds down, etc, and place them beside windows of different variants at random.

As well as that the window size on some buildings is really really weird, and some buildings have bigger windows than others. It just ends up looking very strange, you should try to rectify that.

Hopefully these can help you rectify your window sizes being inconsistent. They're on the new modter (default) system too, not whatever ghetto ass version you're using.

this is amazing!
please release the save when your done.

i think he'd be proud of you if he were here
but it needs more churches and religion

I've been thinking about this, ever going to release it soon?
