How can I keep stupid loving solicitors from calling my home number

I already tried the do not call list thing, but I've been getting a call from the same loving company for months and the caller id is "Toll Free Call" When I answerer it says "Hello, I have an important message concerning personal buisness" I'm seirously fed up with this stuff and What can I resort to, should I change the number on the line and not list it anywhere and keep it on the do not call list? Or what else is there to do, because I've been getting calls from them for months and they wont stop. What other choices to I have?

You could try doing what my dad does, the rare times we get one of those calls he usually raves on to them about us being on the no call list, which usually stops them calling.

Its automated, I'm pretty sure something bad would happen if I hit the number it told me to to talk to an indian

Having dealt with persistent telemarketing companies before, the only thing that will stop them from calling is a new number. Removing your phone number from the national roll, blocking theirs; doesn't work.

One time I answered and a lady started talking about some product (not a recording) and I said "If you call me again I will kill your family". Am I a nice person yet?

Deal with the BS of getting a live caller, then tell them, "Hello, I would like to be removed from your call list."

That's literally ALL YOU NEED TO DO.

most solicitors have numbers on a list, just tell them to take your number off their list.

I do it quite often.

You do realize I used to do this for a year straight. Then I just gave up and started saying stuff like "Kill yourself for being a nuisance to the world", "Stop loving calling me" etc etc. They never really remove you.
