Am I the only one that's happy about this?
I don't really give a forget either way, so I guess so.

Am I the only one that's happy about this?
Happy about the government taking and restricting our freedoms via internet?
Yes.

Well it's obviously not the actual link.

no, it's the actual link, lol. you can visit it via TOR

I'm not interested in drugs, gore, child research, Hitmen or prostitutes, so I have no use for the deepweb and this doesn't really bother me.

Kinda funny though, and pretty scary for those involved. Tor didn't do it's job very well, I wonder how the FBI got through it.

I have no problem with police or FBI investigating things on the internet and to some extent prosecuting major crimes that are committed via the internet, but using the internet as proof in a case, or shutting down sites fully, or removing certain things from the internet, that's when it crosses a line for me

but using the internet as proof in a case
what do you mean by that?

what do you mean by that?
in an investigation, using anything gathered online to pin something to a person

can't euro the bureau

so if someone arranged a murder using email, you don't think it would be okay to use those emails as evidence?

No because anyone can claim to be anyone online, say someone RAT's your computer, uses your email to setup a murder, then you get blamed?

It's too shaky to be used as evidence
