please explain to me how a modern democracy will magically turn in dictatorship
Dumbing down the public with misinformation, saying that there is nothing to worry about, and slowly changing police to give them more control, and cleverly using laws that are to protect us that can be exploited. It wouldn't be so much of a dictatorship with one person in control, rather groups of people fighting for control of the puppet strings.

Oh please, no matter what happens they won't admit it's corrupt or it's a dictatorship. Read about Russia, and how Putin keeps getting 'elected'.

When did this turn into politics?

Guys please explain to me how the government is violating privacy if they are busting websites which are known to propagate and encourage illegal activity, and keep a tab on anyone who knowingly visited these said sites in question (that's like being caught in a drug dealer exchange when DEA busts in). It's not like they outlawed Tor, they just got rid of the abuses of the system. Or am I wrong here?

Are you hank hill now?

If I was my urethra would've imploded instead.

Now obviously I don't support or want child enthusiasts, and there's nothing wrong with tracking down someone who distributed it on tor down and arresting them. But the malware for anyone visiting an onion site was a bit much. Granted I have no idea if they actually did that, I haven't read a real news article on it yet.

something something privileged whining about living in a "police state"

go live in North Korea for a few months and then tell me about it

This piece of propaganda seems pretty convincing.

This is bullstuff. People have the right to privacy, this isn't stopping anything, it isn't helping helping anything, and it's not okay.
